PantryBear Chrome Extension

The PantryBear Chrome extension lets you import grocery order history from Walmart, Sam's Club, and Amazon directly into your account, and save recipe favorites from any recipe website.

Install the extension

  1. Open the PantryBear extension on the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the prompt.
  3. The extension icon appears in your browser toolbar. Click it to open the side panel.

Connect your account

  1. In PantryBear, go to Account → Settings → Extension access and generate an API token.
  2. Open the extension side panel and paste your token in the API token field.
  3. Click Connect. The extension is now linked to your PantryBear account.

You can click Disconnect at any time to remove the token from the extension.

Import grocery receipts

Supported stores: Walmart, Sam's Club, and Amazon.

  1. Sign in to the store's website and open your order or purchase history page.
  2. Open the PantryBear side panel.
  3. Click Import. The extension reads the orders on the current page and sends them to your account.
  4. Find your receipts under Account → Receipts. Use the date filter to narrow results.

Save recipe favorites

On any recipe website:

  1. Open the PantryBear side panel.
  2. Click Save favorite to bookmark the page, or Import recipe to bring it into PantryBear as an editable recipe.

The extension reads the page title and preview image only when you click one of these buttons.

Privacy

Your data is sent to PantryBear servers only when you are connected and actively use a save or import action. We do not sell your data. See the full privacy policy.
