- Orange blossom water2 tablespoons
- Almonds100g
- Icing SugarTo Glaze
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
1 minSet your oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 4) to ensure it reaches the correct temperature for baking. While the oven heats up, prepare your baking tray by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Mix Cashews and Ingredients
5 minIn a large mixing bowl, combine 250g of cashew nuts and 100g of icing sugar. Add 2 egg yolks along with 2 tablespoons of orange blossom water and stir the mixture thoroughly until it transforms into a smooth and cohesive paste, which should be slightly sticky.
Form Biscuit Balls
8 minScoop out portions of the cashew mixture and roll them into small balls, about the size of a walnut. Once shaped, roll each ball in additional icing sugar to create a sweet, snowy coating, and arrange them on the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each for expansion.
Add Almonds to Biscuits
2 minGently press an almond into the center of each ball, ensuring it is partially embedded. This not only adds flavor but also gives a decorative touch to your biscuits.
Bake the Biscuits
30 minPlace the tray in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes. Keep an eye on them, looking for a lightly golden color, to ensure they do not burn.
