  • Fish fillet1 lb

  • Soya Bean800 g
  • Tempura Flour2 tablespoons
  • Garlic4 cloves
  • Spring onions3
  • Sugar1/2 tablespoon
  • Oil2 cups
  • Water1/2 cup

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry ginger until golden and crispy, then set aside.
  2. Cut fish fillet into strips and coat lightly with tempura flour.
  3. Fry the coated fish in the same oil until it turns golden brown and crispy.
  4. Chop garlic and spring onions as needed.
  5. Drain the soya beans and rinse if they are in a salty brine.
  6. In a deep pan, add a tablespoon of oil and sauté the garlic until slightly golden.
  7. Add the soya beans and stir-fry for a few minutes, adjusting with sugar if the beans are too salty.
  8. Pour in water and cook for an additional minute.
  9. Just before serving, mix in the reserved fried ginger, chopped spring onions, and the crispy fish. Serve hot with steamed rice.
