- In a large casserole dish, cook 8 large sausages over medium heat until they are browned all over, which should take about 10 minutes.
- Pour in 1 jar of tomato sauce and mix well with the sausages.
- Add 1200g of butter beans, 1 tablespoon of black treacle, and 1 teaspoon of English mustard. Stir everything together.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then cover the casserole and let it cook for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot with crusty bread or rice for a complete meal.
