Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs8 pieces
- Onion3, thinly sliced
- paprika2 teaspoons
- LemonZest and juice of 1
- Parsley1 handful
- Chicken stock150 ml
- Olive Oil1 tablespoon
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
1 minSet your oven to 190°C (or 170°C for fan-assisted ovens) or gas mark 5. This temperature is ideal for ensuring the chicken cooks through while developing a golden exterior. Make sure the oven is fully preheated before placing the dish inside for even cooking.
Combine Ingredients
7 minIn a large, ovenproof dish, add the chicken thighs, thinly sliced onions, paprika, the zest and juice of the lemon, and the chicken stock. Pour in olive oil and mix everything thoroughly using your hands to ensure the chicken is well coated and seasoned. Don’t forget to add salt and pepper to taste for enhanced flavor.
Bake the Chicken
60 minPlace the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. After 20 minutes, carefully stir the onions to ensure they cook evenly, and check that the chicken is turning golden brown. When done, the chicken should be juicy and the onions tender; the dish should have a beautiful aroma.
